Why Marxism-Leninism?

Our organization was founded on Marxism-Leninism. Why? Did the founder simply want to depart their ideology onto this movement? No, we are a Marxist-Leninist organization because that is the only political ideology that is intrinsically based in science. Ours is the science of the development of social relations and how they develop in response to the economic mode of production. Ours is an observation of past systems and the conclusion that class struggle is the engine for social change. Ours is the continuance of economic forces from irrational capitalism, which produces in excess and wastes that excess wantonly to preserve price controls, while still being unable to provide for those who need those resources the most.
Communist Socialism is the only system capable of seizing the state and giving its power to the people and not a wealthy landowning minority, of abolishing class hierarchies and exploitation. It is the only form of socialism that does not capitulate to capitalism in anyway, preserving outdated systems while providing them with the tools to degenerate back into the dystopia we have now. And, through past and current socialist projects, it has repeated this success in the face of strenuous conditions imposed upon it by western powers and major world events.
“What exemplifies science vs other epistemologies is that its truth-seeking is self-correcting. Marxism today is not exactly the same as in 1850. And it won't be the same as today in 2050. But its method is invariant not because of a choice or opinion, but because it is the same method - science - that allows us to write this very message. It's easy to get caught up in the incorrectness of the praxis we fallible communists do. But I have yet to see a credible challenge to dialectical and historical materialism.” – Comrade Cassandra Arjay
Due to our understanding, we are able to identify and address the root cause of problems where other ideologies, especially liberalism, fail. They often respond with band-aids or the brutalization of the symptom, such as with crime. Democrats, who ideologically and with profit motive seek to maintain the very system that dooms both nature and man, cannot and will not abolish the conditions causing crime, illiteracy, hunger, death from preventable or treatable disease, or any other issues that stem from our mode of production. They’d rather hire more cops to victimize impoverished communities, justifying themselves by pretending these issues are a moral question.
The Marxist would tackle the various causes; poverty, income-conditional healthcare, income-conditional education, stigmas surrounding pursuing mental healthcare, alienation caused by compelled labor & hyper-individualism, income-conditional housing, to name a few. We analyze issues concretely, which is to say, as they appear in real life. Not in the abstract or generalities. We are able to, through our ideology, identify what works & what doesn’t. Liberalism, being a capitalist ideology, fails to address the systemic issues of capitalism, despite claiming they can. Whereas scientific socialism was built upon the shoulders of giants.
“The first duty of the revolutionaries is to tell the truth. Fooling the people, promoting illusions, always brings the worst consequences." – Fidel Castro
The many issues of liberalism, the default ideology of capitalism – the moderate wing of fascism – the worldview promoted through the cultural hegemony of the bourgeoisie – are ingrained in us and only through great effort can we deprogram. We may spend the rest of our lives doing so. The more understanding one has, the more you can pick up on the subtle saboteur beliefs & practices we hold within us. Every little liberal holdover is an attempt to subvert our pursuit towards a revolution back into the status quo, the most notable of which are opportunism and reformism. It is, as the liberal's function in society, to co-opt working-class movements and to pacify them for the state. It is to splinter them, to destroy them, if the liberal does not get their way, and feeling good about it at the end of the day.
“Owing to pressure from below, the pressure of the masses, the bourgeoisie may sometimes concede certain partial reforms while remaining on the basis of the existing social-economic system. Acting in this way, it calculates that these concessions are necessary in order to preserve its class rule. This is the essence of reform. Revolution, however, means the transference of power from one class to another. That is why it is impossible to describe any reform as revolution. That is why we cannot count on the change of social systems taking place as an imperceptible transition from one system to another by means of reforms, by the ruling class making concessions." – Josef Stalin
It is white privilege in practice, the concept that the only right way to change things is through the same system that gives peace to the exploiters. It is a reliance on old repeated methods proven time & again to be ineffective (ex., state-pacified protests as opposed to civil unrest), of which the insane application of such practices is only to the benefit of the bourgeoisie and their status quo. It is foolishly believing that you can destroy the master’s house with the tools the master has given you to do so. It is calling for revolution but depriving the word of any actual meaning, with no scientific foundation, only the abstract idea of applying their ever-shifting-right morality. The liberal is ready at the first moment to capitulate to capitalists in order to secure one's own position, or on the misguided idea that capitalism can be controlled. In Mao Zedong’s essay, Combat Liberalism, he discusses the dangers of liberalism in a way that we find to be extraordinarily valuable.
What has made us strong is our basis in Marxism-Leninism, because it allows us to understand what type of work has what type of effect. It allows us to not get lost on our way towards revolution. It allows us to not lose ourselves in performative acts or efforts that do not serve the revolution. It allows us to reject the factionalism of liberalized movements, to reject the petty infighting that serves only individual interests. We refuse to be divided & conquered, a tool by the bourgeoisie. It means to struggle towards a common goal together. It is the heartbeat that keeps our movement from dying the same death as every other movement; ineffective and irrelevant.
